Common Quesitons and Issues

If you lost or forgot your password, you can reset it by clicking on the "Forgot Your User Name & Password? »" on the top right corner of the page.

This will open a small window (not a popup) within the page prompting you for your email address.  A new password will be emailed to you.  You should log in to NFLPlayers.com and change your password as soon as possible.

NFLPA staff cannot look up your password as it is encrypted in our database.

To change your password, you must go to your profile management page "My Profile" under member services.

You can also get to this page by clicking here.

PDF's can be tricky.  They require a couple of things to be true.

  1. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.
  2. You must have a version equal to or newer than Acrobat 9.0

When you click on a PDF, your browser will either open the PDF directly in the window, or prompt you to save the file.  Try saving the file to your desktop and opening it from there.

After installing Acrobat on your computer, click here to try downloading and viewing the 2006 CBA.

There are a few causes for not being able to open links that 'pop up' in a new window. The main cause that we have seen affecting users on NFLPlayers.com is the use of Internet Explorer.
Microsoft has provided an article for enabling and disabling this feature.

Another common cause is the use of a 3rd party pop-up blocking application, like Google Toolbar or Yahoo Toolbar. Both of these applications require that you specify the sites in which pop-ups are allowed.  You can find the 'How To' articles by clicking on the links supplied.

You can also try 'right-clicking' on the link and select 'open in new window'.  This text may change depending on browser.

Remember, if you click on a link and nothing happens, chances are a pop-up window was blocked.

There are a couple of ways to find a player foundation.  The first way is to look for all foundations listed in your state.

You can do this by going to the "Find a Player Foundation" page under the "Community" tab.  There you will see an interactive map.  Just hover over your state and click.  This will update the list at the bottom to show a quick description of the player foundations found in your state.

Alternatively, you can look up a foundation by going to the player's page.

First, you must find the player using our "Player Grid" found under the "Players" tab.

Search for the player in question and click on his headshot and then click on "View My Profile" to pull up his profile page.

On this page you will find Stats, Bio information, News articles related to this player, Videos related to him and Charities.

If you dont see Charity on the left hand side, it means that the player either doesn't have a foundation or we haven't added the information to our site.
Our site is constantly being updated so if you know a certain player has a charity and it isn't listed on NFLPlayers.com, please email us.
